Iowa State University Departments of Entomology and Natural Resource Ecology and Management

The Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management is dedicated to the understanding, effective management and sustainable use of our renewable natural resources through the land-grant missions of teaching, research, and extension.

Entomologists at Iowa State University have continued a tradition of excellence since Professor Herbert Osborn taught the nation's first entomology course here in 1880. The department is part of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Nearly 100% of our graduates find employment.
